Weed management on rice field in post – emergence period

There are many weed species in rice field: Grasses, Sedges, Broadleaves weed…

Effects of weed infestation:

  • Nutrition, water and light competition with rice plant.
  • As a host for insects and diseases.
  • Reduce purity and/or quality of harvested grain due to be mixed weed seeds.

Weed management on rice crop:

  • Careful land preparation and leveling
  • Using the certificated rice seeds.
  • Good water management.

To well control weed on rice field, MPS would like to introduce an post – emergence herbicide – Fasi 50WP

Fasi 50WP – “CÓ FASI LO GÌ CỎ DẠI”

Key advanced points:

  • A broad spectrum post- emergence herbicide.
  • Very safe for rice
  • Available and easier to tank – mix with other herbicides

Usage

  • Application timing: apply after 3 rice leaf stage (6 – 12 day after sowing in WS seasons and 6 – 10 day after sowing in SA season)
  • Dosage: 25 gr/ 25 litter tank.
  • Drain the rice field before application and flood again at 01 day after application. The more maintaining a sufficient water level in rice field, the more good management.
  • Do not apply in 20oC temperature condition.
  • Have a great season without weed infestation!
