Rice leaffolder management

A young leaffolder eats the leaf leaving only one epidermis layer. When growing old, it spits out the silk in the middle of the rice leaf, the dry filament gradually pulls the two leaf margin together, rolls the leaves into a longitudinal sack, deep in which they eat the leaves to live. As a result, rice leaves lose chlorophyll, reducing the area of photosynthesis. In particular, when the leaffolder attacks on the flag leaf , the seeds will be dimmed, significantly reducing the yield.

The rice leaffolder cause heavy damage in dense sowing fields, excess nitrogen, near roads, near residential areas.

The Symtoms:

To prevent the damage from rice leaffolder, farmer should visit field regularly for early detection (young leaffolder appear 2-3 days after the butterfly) spray the insecticide MAP DONA 265EC when the pest is small (1-2 instars), the density is about 1-2 pests/plant.

  • Dosage: 25ml / 25 liter  (50ml / 1.000m2).
  • The amount of water spraying is 400-500 liters / ha.

To increase the effectiveness of leaffolder insecticide, it should be combined with Map Green 6SL (dosage 100ml / 1000 m2). Map Green 6SL helps other products absorb quickly and evenly on the surface of the leaf surface.

MAP DONA 265EC- BEYOND ALL LIMITATIONS

  • The only active ingredient formula: Chlorpyrifos-Methyl + Indoxacarb
  • Consistent with many objects: chew mouth pest, suck pest.
  • Nerve numbness, immediate effect
